Project stages

1/ Meeting each other

Before starting a project, I prefer to give a name a personality - and I imagine you do too! This first exchange (by phone or video) is designed to understand who you are and what your needs are. It's also an opportunity to introduce you to my working method.

I know that starting up a new project requires energy and confidence, so I like to take the time to talk things over so I can guide you better.

2/ Discovering you

Creating a visual identity or any other graphic project is a real team effort!

To start with, I need your help: a questionnaire will be sent to you so that I can better understand your values and philosophy - a hot (or cold) drink is recommended for this reflection.

Every creative choice will depend on your answers, so the more honest they are, the more successful the result will be.

3/ Conceptualize

It's time to sharpen my tools!

Before I start designing your project, I'll send you a few ideas to explore different graphic directions. Discussing style, colors and typography will help us choose the best option for the image you want to project.

These moodboards will be the start of our brand design adventure.

4/ refine

Once we've defined together which direction to go in, I'll be able to focus all my attention on it! Your feedback and opinions will be particularly important to me in creating an identity you can be proud of. So we'll take the time to see things through to the end (however much feedback we need).

No stress, just fun!

5/ Finalize

Once your project is approved, I'll send you all the graphic elements for you to use. Of course, we'll take the time you need to feel at ease.

And if you wish, we can also work together to create your website, stationery or other communication media such as packaging, brochures, stickers or goodies...

any questions?

  • I love creating, but in real life (it doesn't seem like it) I also love people! So to find out if we're right for working together, I need to talk to you first - to find out more about your project, but also to get to know you better.

To do this, I'll set up a face-to-face meeting with you right from the start to find out your story, the whys and wherefores, and what's working and what's not.
We'll discuss your intentions, the retroplanning and our respective values.

The people I work with are passionate, innovative, enthusiastic, punctual and curious.

  • It's possible that the planets aren't aligned for this project (in terms of timing or values). In that case, I won't let you down just like that, and I'll be happy to recommend other graphic designers you can trust, who will (I hope) be able to meet your requirements.

  • I generally approach each project as a whole (logo variations, illustrations, motifs, typography, color palette, stationery...) because everything is linked.

But I understand that it can be a big investment when you start out. I have one or two availabilities a year that allow me to take on "small" projects. If you're in this situation, don't hesitate to write to me, so we can discuss it and see if this approach makes sense for you or not.

  • Because every project and every professional is unique, I don't have ready-made formulas. Each estimate is based on the design of a particular project and the complexity of the work.

In general, my customers invest between €1K and €10K, depending on their specific needs.

  • A typical visual identity project takes an average of 3 months, depending on the number of returns. If you add to that the design of a website, for example, you're looking at another 4 to 5 months.

If you have a deadline to meet, please let me know as soon as possible so that I can plan accordingly.

  • You'll receive access to your client portal, where you'll find the contract, the invoice, the retroplanning and the questionnaire we'll use as a basis for the creative process.
The various graphic proposals I'll be making will then be added.

  • I very rarely work on identities that I haven't created myself. Out of respect for the previous designer, but also because I like to create and master a project right from the start - that's my perfectionist side!

But nothing ventured, nothing gained! Don't hesitate to contact me and we'll see what we can or can't do ;)

  • Of course you can! Financing a project like this shouldn't become a reason not to invest in your business.
I usually offer a 3-installment payment plan, but if you need more, just let me know and we'll adjust the schedule according to your constraints.

  • To be honest, it's going to be complicated. As I only take on a limited number of projects per year (and in order to allow enough time for each one) my schedule is filled several months in advance. But let's discuss it together! If you have a deadline, don't hesitate to let me know as soon as you send me an e-mail, so that I can adjust my schedule if possible.
